Welcome to Genesis, where we are proud of our recent project with Mc Gregor in New York. In collaboration with the SetCompany, we have created a store interior that is not only aesthetically stunning, but also testifies to our commitment to sustainability. Discover how we used OSB board material and Liquid Gloss to create a unique, three-dimensional mirror for our customer’s garments, and how we embraced the Cradle to Cradle recycling principle.
At Genesis, sustainability and responsibility are central to all our designs. For the Mc Gregor project in New York we have chosen to work according to the Cradle to Cradle recycling principle. This means that we strive for a design process in which materials can be recycled or reused after use, without compromising quality. This philosophy led us to OSB sheet material.
OSB (Oriented Strand Board) is known as a cost-efficient and versatile material that is often used in construction applications. However, with this project we proved that OSB can be much more than just functional. Combined with our expertise in design and Liquid Gloss epoxy, we have transformed OSB into an elegant and visually stunning material that perfectly matches Mc Gregor’s aesthetic.
One of the most striking features of the Mc Gregor interior is the use of Liquid Gloss epoxy. This high-gloss and smooth finish has taken the capabilities of OSB to a whole new level. The surface of OSB has been transformed into a lush mirror that reflects Mc Gregor’s garments and products in a special way.
The combination of OSB and Liquid Gloss epoxy creates a three-dimensional effect that attracts the attention of visitors. The material comes to life and becomes a dynamic background for the garments on display. It is a perfect harmony between form and function, where sustainability and aesthetics come together.
